Through many years
of experience, we have learned that a cake is only as good as the ingredients that go into it. We take care to ensure that we only use
the finest products available, both in terms of organic, free range and
fair trade where possible and also by using local independent stockist
wherever possible. A freshly baked sponge cake or rich brandied fruit
cake has a taste and texture that is something that cannot be replicated
on a large mass market scale. We only bake a finite number of cakes on
any given day, and never buy in any baked products. We ensure that your
cake is delivered at its freshest and tasting great.
We can make any
type of cake, including traditional fruit cake, sponge, carrot cake,
lemon, vanilla, chocolate or whatever you want. Each tier of your cake
can be different, and we can also produce both cutting cakes and dummy
tiers should you require them. Our suppliers include the following: Opies,
Duchy Originals, Harvey Nichols, Silver-Spoon, Tiptree,
Hennessy, Mount Gay Rum and Green & Blacks.
